Our local grocery store had an Easter Egg hunt in the produce section. Afterwards, they had crafts, cupcake making and prices. Leah won an basket!!

Our family tradition! Easter Brunch at the Alve's! So much FOOD, FAMILY AND FUN!!! Renee stayed at school because she had to work, she was truly missed!!
Cherry Blossom 10 Miler in DC! Jeanine and I entered the lottery (I was convinced we wouldn't be selected) ...and we were! I wasn't "immediately" excited...but I "kinda" trained...so I survived ;)
Murder Mystery - Night at the Deadwood Saloon! Abby hosted an AMAZING evening!! Our first murder mystery!! Jake ended up being the one who was killed...and I, of course, was just a good ol' Southern Belle ;)
Our 7th Wedding Anniversary - Luray Caverns
First time I have ever been to the caverns, I was surprised how cool it was, but I was not expecting to walk into a building/gift shop to enter the caverns...I guess I was expecting a more "natural" entrance? Any who..we had fun, it was nice to get away and spend the weekend together. We did the rope course right outside the caverns, had a great dinner and relaxed!

This is tricky - the water is SO clear, it is mirroring the image from the top - the water looks really deep...but it really is only about two inches deep! Super Cool! (yes, the simple things entertain me ;)

Everyone came to celebrate the last home game of the season! This was it...the last time we would see Jasmine take the field at Potomac High School!! INSANE!!

Memorial Day
Our favorite thing to do!! Watch the motorcycles drive down Route one to the Pentagon for Rolling Thunder! It makes me cry every year, its wonderful to see so many bikers getting together to celebrate our heroes!
....I even got Jake to come this year!!!
Later on that evening, we had friends and family over for a BBQ!
Senior Prom!!!
Jasmine was stunning in her long black dress! They met at a friends to take a limo to dinner and to the dance. Of course, her "crew" had to come to take pictures and see her off ;)
Leah's Kindergarten Spring Concert!
She was just adorable, seeing these little guys take the stage and sing their hearts out and do all the choreography...its just awesome! Sooo cute!!!
JDRF Real Estate Games
Everyone who is anyone in the commercial real estate business in DC participates in this event. Its like Real Estate Olympics!! Jake participated in 3 on 3 basketball and 3 point shooting and I participated in the team spin competition and the sack race. There were probably about 50 different things you could had done from swimming to running to office chair relay on the track...its crazy, but lots of fun!!!
Our spin team came in fourth out of like 60 + teams!
