From the time we started dating, we said we wanted to move back to MA. The time has finally come, we made the decision and went with it! There was a lot of "unknown"...but Jake landed a sweet opportunity and away we went!
House is going up for Rent as of September 1st!!! All cleaned, repaired and ready!!!

Our last "HOORAH" before the big move....
A few weeks before we left, Uncle Pat and Auntie Kathy came down for the Last Flight of a CH-46. We went to a evening celebration at the Marine Corp Museum and received our official shirts. On August 1st, the crew drove to Dulles Air and Space Museum to watch the final flight/landing! (I had to stay behind because someone was late to come look at the townhouse...the glory of being a landlord...I should have known right then that it was not a good idea ;)
Balfour Beatty had just started the second phase of work at the Museum, Mike Fiorillo hands Uncle Pat a piece of the Marble that fell during demo.

Jake's team organized a wonderful goodbye party for him. They went out to dinner and did Karaoke all night. They all had a blast, even the owner of the property! We were lucky to still be around during a significant milestone in Jake's final project in DC - The building topped out!! The whole family attended the event before we headed up to MA for a house hunting trip.
This was a tough day! It was time to get packing!!!
