Maggie's Baby Shower / MA Visit
Andrew ventures to the park with three children, a dog and a whale (tied to a string)....aka "Sharkie" ..who is Sharkie you ask? For Leah's birthday, Andrew bought Leah an inflatable remote control whale..which floats in the air...with the help of helium and has a remote control fin that moves back and forth. Well, Jake put it together in VA and we had this grand idea to bring it outside so it had more room to move around (in the house it was hovering around 5 feet...so we thought we were safe to take it out) ...we get outside, a huge gust of wind comes and takes "Sharkie" into the air and off into the skies! Leah, Matthew and Chloe were sooo upset!!!! Jake comes up with this brilliant idea (after he tries to chase it blocks to see if it will come back down to the ground) and tells the kids that "Sharkie" went to visit Uncle Andrew and will meet us in MA when we go to visit in a few weeks! Well dad was right, Sharkie was there!!! Thanks to Amazon and Andrew making a trip to the store to get the new one inflated!! ...the things we do for our kids!
